How to use your new 10-watt Amplifier

Plug any end of the cable into the output of the guitar. Location for this varies by model of guitar, but is usually on the lower end of the body. Plug the other end of the cable into the input of the amplifier. Make sure that the amplifier is plugged in to a power source, and turn the amplifier on.

Turn the volume knob of your guitar up about halfway, and adjust the knobs on the amplifier to your preferance. Gain gives off a somewhat distorted, dirty sound. When this is at 0, turned all the way down, and the boost switch is out, the sound of the guitar through the amp should be fairly clean. Hit the boost and turn up the gain, and now you're rocking. The treble knob affects the higher notes of the guitar. Turn this up, and your shrill solos are even more high-pitched and piercing. The middle knob adjusts the clarity of the mid-ranged playing, and the bass knob adjusts the deeper crunchy tones that will come from the low end of the guitar, mainly on the thicker strings.
