Acoustic-electric guitars from Crafter, Stagg and J.N Guitars. These guitars play like any acoustic, and a built-in pickup lets you plug into an amp or PA for stage or church use. Many have a cutaway, a scooped body shape that makes the high frets easier to reach.

Body shapes include dreadnought and auditorium, and both are common choices for steel-string players. You will need a guitar cable to plug in, and an amplifier or PA to be heard. Compare with plain steel-string guitars if you will mostly play unplugged.
